tired and supported
already in my tired girl era from the hinge messages and awkward first dates, after 3 weeks of hospital visits, i took my last test of 20+ tests for the trial today. thankful for the people who stuck by me, checked in on me, and made me feel like a normal human through all this.

gina rodriguez does it again… extremely relatable to a single 30-ish, the struggles of dating and making/staying friends in your early 30s is comically displayed in this short and sweet flick. it hits all the best parts of your body and soul – the frustrations of work and relationships, laughs with your friends, cries about your past, anxieties with cringeworthy dating, and more. i will definitely watch this on repeat for the next few weeks.

i cannot preach more about how amazing this tank top is – i have them in every color! for those who are looking for a no-bra solution, this one can comfortably tame these 32DDs. these are extremely soft, not-too-cropped, and have a removable, padded built-in bra. bonus, they have matching jackets and bottoms (pictured). these have been amazing for all the tests and looksies at the hospital, too.

medical update
took my last test for the I-SPY trial today (thank the lord), which was just another biopsy for research purposes. i have passed my 20 tests with flying colors and will begin treatment on 3/5.

tip of the day: save money. never make assumptions, and ask questions when you don’t know the answer.

as i have mentioned obnoxiously on all the channels, i just retrieved my eggs last weekend. during the initiation phase, you go through consultations for health and wealth, which come to find out from the ucsf reproductive health center that i do get financial help with most medications with amazing programs, but the actual 2-week long service and procedure is not covered by my insurance.

doing research on my blue shield ppo plan, fertility preservation programs are covered by insurance if you have been diagnosed with something indirectly or directly effecting iatrogenic fertility – which duh, cancer does.

after countless hours on the phone with blue shield and the best rep ever (Kerry), i discovered that most of the many many many services are partially or fully covered.

i have not received the final bill for the 35 frozen Ceglia’s but any discounts from a $12,000-$15,000 procedure is good by me.
